Humans eating meat out of economic privilege, and self centered desire, and not survival. This is an example of the Tragedy of Commons. It is based on greed and self interest. It hurts the animals, the environment and poor communities. Ultimately it will hurt those who are doing it, and their next generation, for short term privilege now.
The Solutions is: Don't take more than you need, because it hurts everyone else, including you eventually. Lead by example. Life an ethical life and eat a plant based diet. Keep learning and adjusting your behavior to be more sustainable and ethical.
